IT/AV Support Technician

is recruiting an IT/AV Support Technician to join its IT/Maintenance Department. Reporting to the IT/AV Manager, the technician is the central point of contact for IT and audiovisual incidents and service requests across the hotel. The role provides second-line support to staff and hotel services, helping keep systems running reliably and resolving issues promptly.

Key responsibilities

• Provide second-line support for IT and AV systems across the hotel.
• Respond promptly to service requests and technical incidents, minimising disruption to operations.
• Install, configure and maintain computer hardware, software, networks and AV equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and connectivity problems.
• Support conference room AV setups, projectors, displays and related equipment.
• Help maintain the security, reliability and performance of IT and AV systems.
• Maintain accurate records of IT assets, configurations and support activity.
• Assist with upgrades, system rollouts and technology improvement projects.
• Work with the Chief Engineer and other departments to support operational needs.
• Deliver strong customer service and contribute to continuous service improvement.

Qualifications and skills

• Proven experience in an IT or AV support role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, networking and hardware troubleshooting.
• Experience with AV systems, conferencing tools and multimedia technologies.
• Good problem-solving, organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and with colleagues in a busy environment.
• Relevant IT/AV certifications are an advantage.
