The Rock Hotel in Gibraltar is looking for an experienced Chef de Partie to join its Food & Beverage team and take responsibility for a specific kitchen section.

The role is suited to a culinary professional with strong cooking skills, high standards of food preparation and presentation, and the ability to work confidently in a quality hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities include:

- Managing an assigned kitchen section and ensuring efficient preparation, cooking, presentation and timely service.
- Preparing dishes to consistently high standards, following recipes, portion control, cooking techniques and presentation guidelines.
- Maintaining excellent standards of hygiene, HACCP, allergen control and food safety.
- Monitoring stock, minimising waste and contributing to cost control and kitchen efficiency.
- Supporting special events and banquets, and assisting other kitchen sections when required.

Applicants should have at least three years of experience in a professional kitchen, including experience managing a section independently. A culinary diploma or equivalent qualification and a valid Level 2 or 3 Food Hygiene Certificate are required. Up-to-date HACCP and allergen awareness knowledge is also expected.

Experience in a 4- or 5-star hotel or fine dining environment is preferred. The successful candidate should be organised, detail-focused, able to supervise junior kitchen staff, and comfortable working as part of a busy team.

Applicants must be a UK or EU national and hold either valid Gibraltar residency and ID card, or valid Spanish residency.

The role offers the opportunity to work in a prestigious hotel environment, with a supportive team, employee benefits package and career growth opportunities within hospitality.

Interested applicants should send their CV to apply.
