is looking for an Assistant Accountant to join its finance team in Gibraltar.
The role supports a busy international insurance business and includes management accounts, financial reporting, reconciliations and data analysis. Duties include processing and analysing sales bordereaux, preparing accruals and prepayments, assisting with balance sheet reconciliations, supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts, working across multiple group companies, and helping the finance team with accurate reporting and analysis.
Applicants should be AAT qualified or qualified by experience, ideally working towards ACCA, CIMA or ACA or keen to begin studying. The employer is looking for at least three years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, confidence working with large data sets, attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and an organised, reliable approach. Insurance-sector experience would be an advantage.
