Due to our clients continuing expansion, a vacancy has arisen at our Gibraltar based office.

This is a great opportunity to acquire pricing skills whilst working as part of a small friendly team. The size and scale of the business will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to work closely with senior executives.

The Role

The Pricing Analyst role is based within the Insurance Company’s Pricing Team, reporting to the Pricing General Manager. The role will provide support within all areas of the team, as dictated by operational demand, from providing essential reports to modelling claims experience. Working closely with other members of the Pricing Team, the individual will be expected to ensure accurate analyses are generated in a timely fashion.

Taking direction from the Senior Pricing Analyst and the Pricing General Manager, the Pricing Analyst will be expected to represent the department’s/team’s interest when dealing with other areas of the business, hence the requirement for excellent communication skills.

The Candidate

Due to the nature of the job, the tools used for calculating prices and the level of communication required with other departments/teams, the following will be expected of the job holder:

· Competent at managing numerate tasks with accuracy

· Expected to attain the advance level in Microsoft Excel

· Excellent verbal and written skills

· Excellent analytical skills

· Required to attain a competent level with the tools used to prepare data such as SAS.
